BBC micro:bit/Samsung

Samsung partnered with the BBC to provide schoolchildren across the UK with their very own mini computer: the BBC micro:bit. This tiny device makes coding easier than ever before, especially when you add in Samsung’s powerful micro:bit app. The app lets you code anywhere you want – at home, on the bus, or even in the playground – by pairing your Android phone and the micro:bit!

Nexus designed Samsung’s ‘Team micro:bit’:  Dot, Jax, Kate (Dot’s mum) and Dot’s cat Hubble, who guide new coders through each Samsung microbit project step by step. From creating star animations, to the steady hand game, to coding the microbit to bleep and flash when someone tries to get into your bedroom (including the cat!), each fun project uses the micro:bit functionality in a different and simple way.
