Gaëlle Denis created a fashion film to showcase footwear designer Mr. Hare’s debut menswear collection. The film launched at Mr Hare’s show at ‘London Collections Men’ and was in collaboration with the British Fashion Council.
The film shows a selection of photographs which reference Mr Hare’s travels back-projected onto an enormous screen; giving viewers a hint of the global influences which inspire the designer. The collection is worn by models and dancers, including Royal Ballet soloist and star Eric Underwood, who celebrate the collection through a range of back stories using both choreographed and spontaneous movement.
The film was shot at 50fps and this, coupled with a fast paced edit, combine to create a distinctly music video feel.
