Congrats to Directors, Plains of Yonder and Animation director, Fernando Dominguez Cózar on their Merit Honor at the 2023 ADC awards.

Working with a slew of talented creatives we were thrilled to collaborate on the Opening Titles for the critically acclaimed Amazon series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

As fine, rustic particles bounce and skip across a dark, flat plane they morph into Tolkienian iconography while referencing the Middle Earth creation myth of the Ainur – immortal angelic beings that sang the world into existence. Even for those new to Middle Earth, the visuals evoke something primordial and vast. The production saw the team use a blend of both live-action and VFX led by Nexus Studio’s Fernando Dominguez Cózar.
