A big cheer for Hannah Lau-Walker’s ‘Trang’! Happy to announce that Hannah’s addition to the She Create’s Change series, produced by us and creatively led by Martha Adams for Room to Read will be screening at London Short Film Festival in January. 

The film will be screened as part of the ‘Hi, How Are You?’ programme at the festival. This collection of animated shorts, suitable for ages 9-12, explore the ups and downs of life. Together they acknowledge that, while things might get rocky along the way, we always get there in the end. We’re proud to be part of a programme that communicates such a nuanced, yet positive, message for younger audiences.

She Creates Change is a six-part mixed-media docu-series created by Nexus Studios for Room to Read. Each episode champions another inspiring story of a girl who participated in one of Room to Read’s programmes. ‘Trang’, Hannah’s episode, follows the eponymous protagonist’s as she finds an audience for her YouTube channel alongside her beloved pet duck, Bim Bim.
