After much anticipation, we’re thrilled to announce that She Creates Change will premiere on Warner Bros. Discovery channels to audiences in Asia in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th. 

The series, produced by Nexus Studios and directed by Martha Adams, mixes live-action documentary and animation to tell the stories of six girls who use life skills such as empathy and perseverance to overcome obstacles and transform their lives. To direct the six stories, Nexus Studios curated a diverse group of female animation directors including Bonnie Taylor Forsyth, Claudia Chinyere Akole, Hannah Lau-Walker, Neeraja Raj, Prashanti Aswani, and Siqi Song to take on a story each.

Episodes will air on the Discovery ASIA channel in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, and on the TLC and Discovery+ India channels in Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

The release of She Creates Change also launches Room to Read’s flagship fundraising campaign, You Create Change. This campaign will help support Room to Read’s programs in girls’ education and gender equality. Find out more here.
