UFC’s “For Mexico, For All Time’ in the press
Rounding up the coverage for our cinematic experience at Sphere.
UFC CEO Dana White promised fans the “greatest sporting event of all time.” Despite these massive expectations, audiences were not left disappointed. Beyond the headline fights, the standout of the event was the film ‘For Mexico, For All Time’.
Directed by Oscar-nominated Carlos López Estrada and produced by Antigravity Academy and Nexus Studios, the film leveraged Sphere’s cutting-edge technology to create an immersive experience like no other.
ESPN weighed in with, “An absolute, undeniable, detail-by-detail home run. It is one of the best things the UFC has done in its nearly 31-year history.”
Sports journalist Kevin Iole was equally impressed, stating, “It was, without a doubt, one of the best live sporting events I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to imagine anyone witnessing something more spectacular than this.”
Barstool Sports concluded, “HOLY S***! I gotta be honest—I thought the Sphere was mind-blowing before, but now I realize I hadn’t even seen anything yet.”
The critical reception has been overwhelmingly positive, with major sports outlets like ESPN, Fox Sports, Barstool Sports, TNT Sports, Sky Sports, UFC, Sports Business Journal, Talk Sport, BVM Sports, and MMA Fighting along with traditional media such as The Independent, Forbes, and the Daily Mail echoing their sentiments.
