Every year, LGBTQIA+ Pride commemorates the Stonewall Riots in New York on June 28, 1969. Now a global movement, Pride Month reminds us to keep advocating for visibility, safety and equality for all.

But Pride can come in many different shapes and sizes, all deserving to be celebrated. Ahead of Pride in London on Saturday we wanted to invite our team to celebrate through a medium of their choice and asked them to visually respond to the question, “What does Pride look like to you?”

See what they cooked up below.

Jade Duncan-Knight – Creative Manager

“What’s more typical of ‘pride’ than the symbolism of a lion? I wanted to draw on that and the palette of the lesbian flag at the same time. The sunset colours and using an animal motif are both beautiful and I also think speak to embracing that identity, vibrantly and naturally.”

Andreea Tocilescu – Designer

“Valentino Vecchietti’s flag, seen as an abstract embrace.”

Anna Roberts – COO

Anna turned to photography to express her relationship to Pride. This image of a Pride flag was captured in the epicentre of London Pride, Soho.

Alyaa – Marketing Designer

“To me, pride is comfort, self acceptance and being at peace with yourself.”
