AI: More Than Human. Our collaboration with the Barbican
AI: More than Human has opened at London’s Barbican.
An unprecedented survey of creative and scientific developments in Artificial Intelligence, AI: More than Human explores the evolution of the relationship between humans and technology.
Nexus Studios were approached by the Barbican to create and define the Data Worlds area, which examines the capability of AI to change society, as well as the ethical issues of bias, truth, control, and privacy.
We have created a series of 7 installations which tell the story of how integrated AI already is in our society, and our relationship to it. Our work makes use of GAN, YOLO real time object detection and Computer Vision technology, includes a collaboration with artist Memo Akten and culminates in ‘Meet the AI, a chance to personally reflect on the role that we play in AI’s development.
