We are delighted to receive the Hackney 100 award for ‘Best Contribution made by an Employer’

The Hackney 100 initiative, created by Hackney Council in partnership with charity Inspire! aims to help 100 local residents aged 16-24 find valuable paid work placements. By putting them in touch with businesses in the area, they’re opening doors to a number of industries such as creative, tech, digital, hospitality and construction.

At Nexus Studios we welcomed young talent to participate in the production department and on reception. James Tomkinson, Nexus’ Managing Director said: “We were blown away by the calibre. Students were quick to absorb new skills and get stuck in even after a full day of study.”

It has been inspiring to participate in the Hackney 100 programme. We look forwards to taking on more students in 2019 when the programme re-launches.
