This first of its kind production reunited the students of Thurman White Academy of the Performing Arts Middle School virtually on an animated stage. Following the online premiere of ‘Drawn Closer’, It’s Nice That spoke to Patrick Osborne about the hands-on process of working with the students, from recording them in virtual booths to directing over Zoom.

Patrick said of the momentous project: “Working with these kids was easily the best part of the project. They were endless wells of enthusiasm and natural performers. Each student brought a unique sensibility to the characters that elevate the story to a hugely entertaining and emotional plain.”
