A massive congratulations to Nexus Studios’ Kibwe Tavares on the release of his debut feature film ‘The Kitchen’. Directed alongside the one and only Daniel Kaluuya and designed by our directing collective at Factory Fifteen, the film is now streaming worldwide on Netflix, where it quickly hit the #1 spot in the UK and France and ranked number #3 globally.

The film follows Izi and Benji as they navigate a dystopian future London in which all social housing has been eliminated. All housing, that is, apart from the Kitchen, a community that refuses to abandon their home.

After a triumphant world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, the film has been met with critical acclaim including a thumbs-up from Mark Kermode, 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and awards for Best Effects and Best Production Design at the British Independent Film Awards.
