Nexus Studios’ Nicolas Ménard has won the Grand Prix Award and Uppsala Film Festival 2017 for his short film Wednesday With Goddard.

The film tells the story of Eugene, who goes on a personal quest for spiritual enlightenment that leads to romance and despair. It juxtaposes intricate pencil drawings by Manshen Lo, with simple, geometric characters.
