2017 has been an incredible year for Nexus Studios’ Director Niki Lindroth von Bahr.  Her short film ‘The Burden’ was highlighted as the Stand out film in this year’s Show of Shows. It has rounded up an array of awards this year including the Cristal for Best Short Film at Annecy, a Sundance selection and also scooped the award for Best Short Film at the first ever European Animation Awards.

The film was acclaimed as “a film that stands out in this program and any film program it will ever be part of” by the TIFF jury, where it picked up the Short Cuts Award for Best Short Film.
