We’ll once again be at Playgrounds In Motion for their second UK edition at the Barbican on October 10th and 11th. We’re excited to return to the animation and motion design festival with director talks, resourcing opportunities and portfolio reviews on-site. 

Resourcing in the Industry Garden

Head of Resourcing, Natalie Busuttil and Resource Manager, Zachary Goldman in the Industry Garden. They’ll be around for a chat, giving insights into our work at Nexus Studios and looking to connect with talented animators, motion designers and more.

She Drew That Sketching Session

Hannah Lau-Walker will bring the She Drew That collective to the festival. This community of women in the animation industry will lead sketching sessions throughout both days. Grab your sketchbook and get involved!

Nexus Studios’ latest Director signing, Hannah Lau-Walker, is stepping into the spotlight on Friday 11th October to host the main stage.  Fresh off hosting Playgrounds’ Rotterdam edition, she’s ready to welcome you everyone to Barbican Hall.

Portfolio Reviews

Creative Director, Delfina Maria, and Creative Manager, Jade Duncan-Knight will be on-site for one-on-one feedback on your portfolio. Draw on her wealth of experience and stand out from the crowd. Schedules and sign-ups released on the morning of the event. First come first served!
