Johnny Kelly’s latest short film, ‘Fern‘  picked up First Prize in the Best Comedy Short category at Rhode Island Film Festival.

This black comedy charts the complicated and intense love that grows between a woman and a plant, after the loss of her husband. It’s situated entirely inside one woman’s apartment, in the weeks following her husband’s death.
