To celebrate International Day of the Girl Child 2023, we’re excited to share the new trailer for She Creates Change – our six-part docu-series, created to highlight and support the vital work of charity Room to Read.

The project was driven by the creative leadership of Emmy-winner, Martha Adams, and a team of diverse women directors, which included Siqi Song, Neeraja Raj, Bonnie Taylor Forsyth, Hannah Lau-Walker, Prashanti Aswani, and Claudia Chinyere Akole.

Each episode comprises an animated short accompanied by mini live-action documentaries. These documentaries showcase the inspiring stories of six brave young women from historically disadvantaged communities in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Vietnam. The series also features compelling voice overs by renowned talents like Freida Pinto and Charithra Chandran.

The theme of International Day of the Girl 2023 is “Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being” – join us in spreading awareness and highlighting charities like Room To Read that deliver this vital support to young girls across the world. We’re very proud to have partnered with a charity doing such important work and are thrilled to share this new trailer with the world!
