We’re thrilled to share that She Creates Change, Nexus Studios’ collaboration with global non-profit Room to Read, has been selected at this year’s San Francisco International Film Festival. As part of the Schools at the Festival program, the collection of short films will help SFIFF in its goal to create a bridge between the local education community and stories from around the world.  

She Creates Change will be screened at the Marina Theatre on Wednesday April 24th at 10:00am. Find out more here. 

Produced by Nexus Studios and directed by Martha Adams, the series mixes live-action documentary and animation to tell the stories of six girls who use life skills such as empathy and perseverance to overcome obstacles and transform their lives. It premiered on Warner Bros. Discovery channels  in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th. Learn more about the project here.
