With Annecy Festival just around the corner we’re pleased to see that the Women in Animation World Summit is returning to the festival this year, fully in person at the Impérial Palace Hotel on 13th June 2022.

Titling the theme ‘Gender Justice: A Global Call for Inclusion in Animation’, the event will feature in depth discussions from world-wide animation talent on fairness and inclusion towards people of all gender identities including men, women, transgender and nonbinary.

We’re proud to announce that Nexus Studios is sponsoring the event, further pledging our support to the cause and to inclusion in the industry at large. Our Film & Episodic team will be in attendance, where they hope to participate and learn from the important conversations.

The Summit will be livestreamed via the WIA website from 9:30am-4:30pm CEST/12:30am-7:30am PST, with a lunch break from 12:20-2:30pm PST.
