The Great British Take Off: Stacked London International Animation Festival Panel
Top brass chat past, present and future of Nexus Studios and animation
We’re really excited about this one. Bringing together heads of departments, directors, creatives and producers, we’re collaborating with LIAF (London International Animation Festival) as part of their “The Great British Take Off” series, which delves into the past, present and future of the UK’s animation industry.
What’s more, as part of LIAF’s online programme, the event is completely free to stream from Saturday onwards. Register online here.
Chaired by Saint John Walker, the online discussion brings together Chris O’Reilly, (Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer), Rachel Moss (Head of Production), Fx Goby (Director), Deborah Casswell (Executive Creative Director), and Delfina Maria, (Creative Director). Together, they reflect on where Nexus Studios started and how it’s since developed to adapt to new technologies, industry changes and the opportunities and challenges these have presented. A vital conversation for anyone active or interested in the animation industry.
Running both online and offline, LIAF is one of the UK’s largest celebrations of animation. A hub for innovation and storytelling, supporting established creators and introducing emerging talent. With screenings, retrospectives, and thought-provoking panels, LIAF showcases the breadth of what animation can achieve.
