We are delighted to announce that Trash Studio have joined Maison Hanko, our creative talent house, specialising in contemporary Japanese animation and design.

Founded by Producer Yoichiro Kugimiya who was later joined by renowned Director Yoshiharu Sato, Trash Studio is a Japan-based collective made up of leading animators and creators who have worked on many of the greatest Ghibli films of all time. From ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ to ‘The Secret World of Arrietty’ and ‘The Wind Rises’.

Nexus Studios Founder and Executive Creative Director, Christopher O’Reilly explains, “Trash Studios is home to talents who have contributed to anime films that have delighted millions across the world. They bring a deep expertise in craft and animation art and we’re honored to be collaborating with them.”
