A woman loses her husband and finds a potted plant.

This black comedy charts the complicated and intense love that grows between a woman and a plant. It’s situated entirely inside one woman’s apartment, in the weeks following her husband’s death.

A short film commissioned by Channel 4, ‘Fern’ is written and directed by Johnny Kelly, produced by Nexus Studios and features Bafta award-winning actor Monica Dolan.
