Forest Folk
Immersing audiences into a world of magical landscapes where reality and the surreal blend together in unexpected moments, this responsive installation features sleeping mythical creatures that are camouflaged within two giant screens arranged as a diptych. Visitors are able to awaken the creatures through gestural movement.
Nexus Studios were commissioned created the artwork for the ‘Nikolai Astrup: Painting Norway’ exhibition at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, that draws on Astrup’s central themes of transformation and mythology.
