Directing duo Emma De Swaef and Marc James Roels use a mix of live action, stop motion and puppetry to create enchanting films and TV commercials with universal appeal. Beautifully hand-crafted woollen puppets and felt miniatures are set in entirely knitted or real environments.

Their work, known for a particular kind of absurd humour and tenderness, has been widely celebrated.  Notably, their short film Oh Willy has won over eighty awards, including the coveted Cartoon d’Or and their commercial work for Belgian brand De Lijn picked up a Cannes Craft Lion in Animation.
