The new innovation transforms amateur dog photos captured by busy shelter workers into professional-grade photography. Trained to recognise thousands of dog breeds, the AI-powered innovation maps their features onto a ‘digital skeleton’.

While maintaining the authentic characteristics of the dog, this digital asset can be repositioned as needed and used in any Pedigree advertisement. The shelter dogs in advertising will change based on the viewer’s location and be updated when a dog is adopted. Soon, every dollar Pedigree spends on advertising will also help find shelter dogs their forever homes.

Following Adoptable’s launch in tests markets, the results have been significant. In just two weeks, 50% of featured dogs were adopted, with a sixfold increase in shelter visitors.
