Kicking things off at In Motion 2025 event at the Barbican, Design at Nexus Studios pulled viewers in with this title sequence using a kinetic infinite zoom moving across a collage of styles and techniques. As speaker names flash in expressive fonts and bold colours, they leave trails of colour behind which gradually transform the monochromatic world into a vivid explosion of colour.

Each shot was crafted to contrast with the one before shifting in technique, style, and scale. Structured grids give way to organic movement as the film evolves from order to chaos, blending cel animation, 3D, and illustration into a continuous visual rhythm designed for both the Barbican’s massive screen and to watch online with intricate details and easter eggs that are perfect for repeat viewings.
