A series of snapshots from this unusual year play out to a sing along soundtrack of thank-yous for Facebook.

The short film represents a range of different situations and experiences with each vignette showing a change in style and technique, including puppetry, stop-motion, 2D and 3D animation, all unified in their message of hope and gratitude. Created during lockdown in the Spring and released on Facebook in time for Thanksgiving, featuring the unique unifying moments of 2020, from mask-wearing shop workers and line drawn nurses to virtual classrooms and at-home puppetry fitness classes. The refined nature of each technique reminds us to be thankful for the simple things in life.

The catchy theme tune was written, composed and performed by the supremely talented Walter Martin, founding member of the New York City indie-rock bands the Walkmen.
