Eastend Western presents three brand-new animated shorts, each depicting an inventive take on Replacement Animation – a technique in which every frame uses a different, unique puppet. We’re transported to three distinct worlds where cinematic genres are referenced and subverted. The newly formed directing duo looked to push the boundaries of the technique creating dreamlike worlds where audiences can lose themselves in these bold, hypnotic visuals 

BLUE GOOSE: A satirical Western that takes aim at the enshittification of online spaces.
CLUB ROW: A hypnotic film noir using data privacy as a pretext to explore an endlessly spinning staircase.
MYTHACRYLATE: A modernist fantasy for the century of the self, embracing the multiplicity of characters inherent to Replacement Animation.
