The Royal London Hospital
Woodland Wiggle
Woodland Wiggle is a pioneering interactive experience in the Children’s ward of the The Royal London Hospital. The artist Chris O’Shea collaborated with Nexus Studios to design an experience that allows children to enter into an illustrated storybook world where they can play, paint and make music.
The project used the latest creative technologies and was designed specifically around play as a healing mechanism for children. We worked closely with the doctors and health experts to design for positive wellbeing from the outset. Woodland Wiggle also inspired another project for a hospital in Alaska, Wilderness Wiggle.
