Tribeca X celebrates the best and boldest in branded storytelling. The event, kicking off today, looks to the future of connecting consumers and storytellers. An exciting day of talks and workshops is topped by the Tribeca X award ceremony. We’re in awe of the diverse lineup of finalists this year and are thrilled to have Gorillaz Presents and She Creates Change both represented alongside them. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed!

A little more about the projects:

Gorillaz Presents

It’s great to see Gorillaz Presents returning to New York after the epic Times Square performances on the 17th and 18th December. Directed by Jamie Hewlett and Fx Goby, the AR performance of Skinny Ape took over iconic cityscapes in New York and London. 

They set out to revolutionise the live show experience by working with the world’s most famous virtual band. That’s why this recognition from Tribeca feels extra good. 

She Creates Change

Our six-part animated documentary series She Creates Change has also made it through to the finalists. We worked closely with Room to Read to transform the experiences of six inspiring young women from across the world into these animated shorts. It was important for us to match the right, diverse, voices to each story and are really proud of the results.
