Explore wildly different landscapes from the orange-hued earth of Madagascar to alpine villages and the evolving skyline of Tokyo, taking in a mix of cultures including Mexico’s rich cinematic history and the explosive dance scene in Ghana, all from the comfort of your own home…
Kibwe Tavares | Alive Inside
Kibwe creates a film that explodes with compelling dance routines, fashion, raw physicality, and bursts of colourful animation. The film was shot on location in Ghana and South Africa over a period of three weeks with an entirely African cast and crew. Kibwe designed all of the animations and even found the music track by Buraka Som Sistema.

Neeraja Raj | The Girl Who Built a Rocket
For her first commissioned short, Neeraja created this touching 2D animated film for WaterAid, telling the story of Fara, a little girl from Madagascar who dreams of being an astronaut in hope of finding water on Mars. The piece includes a voiceover by award-winning journalist Sir Trevor McDonald and features a specially composed soundtrack of David Bowie’s iconic Life on Mars, 50 years after its original release.

Sam Southward | Goodness
Sam Southward transports us to a miniature alpine wonderland in this beautifully detailed CG spot for Milka. By playing with texture and scale, Sam created the feel of a miniature set, whilst real cotton wool clouds added to the film’s stop-motion like charm.

Sojiro & Eri | Designing Tokyo
Sojiro & Eri transport us back to the 1950s and take us on a whirlwind journey in this epic, time warping film for Designing Tokyo. Set to an emotive track, the spot beautifully captures the constantly evolving skyline of Tokyo over the years and the stylish people that inhabit it.

The History of La Cerveza Mas Fina | Nicolas Ménard
Under the direction of Nicolas Ménard, this epic stop-motion film takes viewers on a journey through 90 years of the intertwined history of Mexico and iconic beer Corona. From post-revolution Mexico and the birth of Corona, the film leads us through the country’s Golden Age of Cinema and Peso Crisis to see Corona’s international growth, before we arrive in modern day Mexico.
