We are beyond excited to see two projects recognised twice at the 2023 Emmy Awards! With a nomination for Gorillaz Presents in the Emerging Media Program and ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Title Sequence in the Main Title Design category. A massive thank you to the Television Academy – we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the awards ceremony on September 10th. 

Directors, Jamie Hewlett and Fx Goby took on Gorillaz Presents to carve out a bold new direction for the future of live performance experiences. Alongside Google and Eleven Management, we worked to take over the streets of New York and London, using AR to transform them into a stage for an epic performance of Gorillaz’s new track ‘Silent Running’. The project has already had a great month after being recognised at the Webbys, Tribeca X, and Cannes Lions but now we hope to add a win at the prestigious Emmys to the list. Congratulations to the whole team and everyone who helped dream this revolutionary step in location-specific AR experience into reality.

We are honoured to have been enlisted by the Plains of Yonder studio to work with an incredibly talented team on the opening title to Amazon Studios’ ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,’ created and led by Directors Mark Bashore & Katrina Crawford, and Creative Director, Anthony Vitagliano. Our very own, Fernando Dominguez Cózar was brought on as Animation Director, working with our team of our in-house experts to craft the befittingly epic introduction to the Prime Video series. Steeped in Tolkenian folklore and evoking a primordial power, the visuals resonate with the audience, priming them for the adventure they’re about to dive into. Congratulations to the creatively-virtuosic and craft-obsessed team behind this incredible project.
