Thrilled to share that This is Your Brain on Food, our collaboration with Postmates and Mother Los Angeles, has been recognised by the 28th Annual Webby Awards! The series of nine animated films picked up nominations in both the Best Use of Animation or Motion Graphics and Best Art Direction categories. Keeping our fingers crossed for the Webby Awards Show on May 13th.

‘This is Your Brain on Food’ illustrates the unique, visceral sensation evoked by taking the first bite of food. Each of the films highlights a different dish available through the Postmates app from the fiery thrill of Nashville Hot Chicken to the bouncy world of Boba tea and the serene joy of sushi. With so many techniques and styles deployed, a team of world-class directors were brought together to craft the nine films. These included Harry Butt, Angela Kirkwood, Dante Zaballa, Double Up Studio, bus.group, Laurie Rowan, Shynola, and Fantasista Utamaro.
