Covid-19 took away the chance for many school kids to be together and to collaborate on the things they love. For the students of ‘Thurman White Academy of the Performing Arts’ that meant their school theatre production.
Directing 22 school kids virtually over Zoom, Academy Award winner Patrick, helped the stars of the show voice and puppeteer their own characters in an animated short, from the safety of their homes. Take a look behind the scenes of this first of its kind production which uses facial tracking technology to record each of the students’ performances, making their characters in the animated film as true to life as possible.
Keep your eyes peeled for the full film coming soon!
