Assembling an all Japanese team of highly sought after animators and creators, Fantasista first crafted a perfect canvas in 2D film then repeatedly “broke” it using a bespoke computer programme. Inspired by quantum science and internet culture, he handpicked photography from his own personal collection and mixed it with stock photos of the Japanese countryside to create an authentic anime-like scenery.
