As the spot’s title card notes, “Star Wars Toys don’t fly, walk, or battle on their own; but if you use your imagination, anything is possible.” 

Proving the point, Conor Finnegan has recreated the epic trailer for ‘Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker’ in live action puppetry form, with a cast made up of Target’s range of Star Wars characters past and present. 

Conor embraced a lo-fi aesthetic to create a nostalgic, funny, and fittingly epic toy tribute to some of the trailer’s most iconic scenes, shooting almost everything with practical effects and recreating sets using everyday objects.
