Robertino Zambrano
An animated ode to an accent, bringing sporting stories to life, tackling stage fright and life lessons we all need…
Robertino’s emotional versatility is shown in his work that moves from the fluid and poetic, to the scratchy and characterful.
He gained international recognition with short film ‘Love in the Time of March Madness’ which won at the Tribeca Film Festival and was Oscar shortlisted as Best Animated Short. Since then, his organic and intuitive approach has been put to use by broadcasters and brands including Nike, Google, ESPN and Netflix.
Most recently, Robertino directed ‘Accents’ for TED-Ed, conveying the energy, soul and rhythm of the spoken word performance and winning the Commissioned Film Cristal at Annecy International Animation Festival.
